Dreamy but modern Hana has written her very first poem. It is based upon a traditional Japanese haiku poem. Hana says she is liberated by the simplicity arising from the formal structures of this centuries old art form. She hopes you like it too.

This doll has a clay over cloth face. Her hands are hand-sculpted and hand-painted. Her thick long jet black hair is swept to one side and braided with a silk flower.

Dressed head to toe in designer silks, the skirt is tied dyed in lilacs and green.

 

 

 

Pearly flower buttons are used at the shoulders and hips for joints and sewn at the elbows and knees for movement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Little pink pumps are painted on her feet.

 

 

 

 

Her bodice and shawl are sheer fabric with Japanase printed flowers and a sequin trim.
