Meet Frida
Frida lives in Mexico City where she grows flowers and vegetables. Her best friend Diego has given her a handmade hairpiece of flowers. Last summer Leon came visiting and made her a unique chilli necklace. "Oooh" said Frida "everyone should have a chilli necklace for elevenses and a cactus for tea."
Frida is 17 inches tall. She wears a traditional Mexican dress and is button jointed at the shoulders and hips.
Her face is hand embroidered.
Her glass bead amethyst necklace can be removed and worn as a bracelet.
She has a beautiful flower headband.
This doll contains buttons and beads making it unsuitable for little ones.
