ANNIE PATCHWORK AND HER RECYCLED HOUSE

Sold

Meet Annie
She looks just like an old fashioned rag doll in her patchwork skirt and frilly lace blouse. Vintage cotton gingham is used for her arms and legs which are button jointed at the shoulders and hips to allow for movement. Her body is made from muslin.

Her braided hair is fair trade peruvian wool, super soft and tied with ribbons. Annies huge eyes are hand embroidered that give a wide eyed innocent look to her. Her rosebud mouth is also embroidered.

Little Annie has been waiting for her bedroom to be decorated, but at the moment her mum cannot afford the wallpaper.

She has an idea, her Mum has just made her a stunning patchwork skirt made from recycled clothing, Annie can do the same thing with all the used wrapping paper she has been collecting and decorate her bedroom wall in it. Brilliant. Annie is so innovative.
It takes her a whole week but she thinks it looks quite effective.

She has just realized she hasn't told her Mum of this spur of the moment creative impulse and now here she comes!

She really hopes her Mum isn't mad.

Annie needn't have worried, her Mum thinks it's absolutely fabulous and is shrieking with excitement.

It turns out that her Mum was a bit mad, she loved the wallpaper idea so much she decorated their whole house in patchwork recycled paper, including the garage, it took her 2 years, and thats why Annie is now known in the neighbourhood as Patchwork Annie.

She stands 17 inches tall and comes in her own decorative patchwork box.

Contains 4 buttons at the joints which could be a choking hazard to small children. Do not give to under 5 year olds.
